I am project managing a site-specific piece of art that's being installed for this weekend. I'll just keep a running diary of the process here, including some possible pieces of art that will be used throughout the site.
The first rehearsal for the human performers took place yesterday, and we established a few goals for the piece:
1. Get people onto the carpet.
2. Change their perceptions of the site and the landscape.
3. Keep it playful. And fun.
